Section Conference 2012

My brothers,

For those of you who are not yet aware the annual S-4 Section Conference will be hosted by your very own Semialachee Lodge 239 at Wallwood BSR in Quincy, FL this April 20-22, 2012. We are looking for lodge members who would like to volunteer to help out the rest of your lodge and fellow brothers put on such a great weekend. We need as much help from you as we can get.

If you have not ever attended a Section Conference you are missing out. NOW is the time for you to get directly involved. The lodge will be having Service weekends to help prepare our camp to accommodate close to 1,000 arrowmen from our Section. That weekend is March 31, 2012. We will provide lunch. These dates can also be found on the SRAC Calendar on their website. We would like everyone to be out at Wallwood by 9 o'clock a.m. Work will involve such tasks as building wooden structures, clearing areas of land, and cleaning and inventorying items around camp. Pretty much anything you can imagine to improve the camp will be done. We welcome you to bring any tools you think you might need, and of course the proper work attire, gloves, hat, water bottle, long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.

As for volunteering to assist in the actual event in April please get in contact with either myself at conference@Semialachee.net or Ken Griffin at kgriffin239@comcast.net .

Please include any areas of the conference that you would like to help with/run. Those may include: Games, registration, dining, shows, or services such as security, parking, etc. If the youth would direct their email to me and the adults to Ken that would help immensely.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, and we hope to see you
out there! Let's make this the best conference our Section and our council
have ever seen!

Your Conference Chair Nimat,
Michael Cenedella
