The Suwannee River Area Council is pleased to announce the return of our Council-wide fundraiser…the 2019 Camp Card.
The intent of the Camp Card sale is to allow Units to raise funds to pay for their Summer Scouting Programs. This includes purchasing camping equipment such as tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags, and to send Scouts to Cub Scout Day Camp, Boy Scout Summer Camp, Boy Scout Winter Camp and Venturing Fun Day at Wallwood Boy Scout Reservation.
Units participating in this program will earn 50% commission ($5.00) for each $10 Camp Card they sell. The sale will begin March 1 and end May 1, 2019.
This year’s card is similar to the tyype used several years ago. We have 3 Single use discounts: Trail & Ski, Esposito, and Batteries + Bulbs. There will be 9 reusable discounts on the back of the Card: Trail & Ski, Papa John’s, Newk’s, Lofty Pursuits, Toy Nation, Auto Xperts, Segway Tours, Bagle Market, and La Tiendita.

This program is completely RISK FREE, simply return any unsold cards at settlement on or before May 3, 2019.

February 28 – 6:00pm Program Kick-off / Card distribution at the Council Service Center
March 1 – Camp Card Sales Begin
May 1 – Camp Card Sales End
The Value of Scouts selling Camp Cards:
- Pay for for a New Uniform – $80=16 cards
- Pay for Cub Scout Day Camp – $130=26 cards
- Pay for Pay for Venture Super Weekend – $40=8 cards
- Pay for NYLT Course fees – $250=50 cards
- Pay for Summer Camp fees – $250=50 cards
- By selling 2018 Camp Cards, your scouts EARN their own way to Camp!
