Camp Cards

The Suwannee River Area Council is pleased to announce the return of our Council-wide fundraiser…the 2018 Camp Card.

The intent of the Camp Card sale is to allow Units to raise funds to pay for their Summer Scouting Programs. This includes purchasing camping equipment such as tents, backpacks, and sleeping bags, and to send Scouts to Cub Scout Day Camp, Boy Scout Summer Camp, Boy Scout Winter Camp and Venturing Fun Day at Wallwood Boy Scout Reservation.

Units participating in this program will earn 50% commission ($5.00) for each $10 Camp Card they sell. The sale will begin February 1 and end May 1, 2018.

This year’s card is different. We have 10 one-time discounts that will make the sale of this card easy: Dick’s Sporting Goods, ACE Hardware, Office Depot/Office Max, Family Dollar, Hair Cuttery, Super Lube, Auto & Tire SuperService Center, Checkers, Steak ‘n Shake, and Arby’s.

Additionally, every card will include membership access to an Entertainment digital membership featuring thousands of high-value offers accessible via smartphone or computer. Take advantage of this partnership to help your Scouts get to camp

This program is completely RISK FREE, simply return any unsold cards at settlement on or before May 5, 2018.

January 30 – 6:00pm Program Kick-off / Card distribution at the Council Service Center

February 1 – Camp Card Sales Begin

May 1 – Camp Card Sales End

The Value of Scouts selling Camp Cards:

  • Pay for for a New Uniform – $80=16 cards
  • Pay for Cub Scout Day Camp – $100=20 cards
  • Pay for Pay for Venture Super Weekend – $40=8 cards
  • Pay for NYLT Course fees – $250=50 cards
  • Pay for Summer Camp fees – $250=50 cards
  • By selling 2018 Camp Cards, your scouts EARN their own way to Camp!
